Q. | How does Nectar work? |
A. | Simply present your Nectar card at the till when you pay. Your card will be swiped and the Nectar points added to your account. |
Q. | How many points will I get? |
A. | You get 2 points for every full £1 you spend at participating stores, excluding a limited number of products such as tobacco, gift vouchers and phone cards. But also look throughout the store for special bonus point offers. |
Q. | How do I know how many Nectar points I have earned? |
A. | Nectar send regular updates so you can keep track of your points. Alternatively you can check your Nectar account balance at www.nectar.com or by calling Nectar on . |
Q. | What if I forget my card? |
A. | Always remember to bring your card with you as unfortunately points cannot be added at a later date. |
Q. | How do I get my rewards? |
A. | There are 3 easy ways, depending on the reward you want. You can exchange your points for Nectar vouchers, book directly with Nectar or redeem points instantly using your Nectar card, where available. Call the Rewards hotline on for more details. |
Q. | Do I get points on everything I buy? |
A. | On the majority of our products, you will earn 2 Nectar points for each whole £1 spent. However, currently excluded products are tobacco and related products, phone cards, e-top up vouchers, gift vouchers, cash back transactions, postage stamps, lottery tickets and e-top up pay point and pay zone payment methods e.g. congestion charges. |
Q. | What will my Thresher Group till receipt show? |
A. | Your till receipt will show your Nectar Card number only. It will not show the points allocated for that transaction. |
Q. | How do I ensure I am fully registered? |
A. | In order to redeem your points you must be fully registered with Nectar. You can do this by returning your registration form by post or completing your registration online at www.nectar.com. |
Q. | What are the opening times of the Thresher Group? |
A. | Thresher group stores are open from 10.00am until 10.00pm, 7 days a week although local conditions may cause these times to vary. Times may also vary on Sundays and bank holidays. |
Q. | Which Thresher Group stores accept Nectar? |
A. | Thresher Group stores that accept Nectar are: Threshers / Victoria Wine / Bottoms Up / Wine Rack. Nectar points are not available from certain non-participating Thresher Group outlets - currently these include Haddows, Huttons, Drinks Cabin, concessions within BP service stations, university campuses, railway stations or Center Parcs. Participating Thresher Group stores will be identified by the presence of Nectar information in store. If in doubt, please check with the store before making your purchase. |
Q. | Can I earn points in Haddows, Huttons and drinks Cabin? |
A. | You can earn 2 points per £1 until 19th July 2004, excluding a limited number of products such as tobacco, gift vouchers and phone cards. After that date we will no longer be able to issue points in these stores. |
Q. | How long does it take for the Thresher Group points to show on my account? |
A. | Usually 72 hours (3 days) after the transaction. |
Q. | What do I do if the points do not show up on my account after a week? |
A. | Contact the Nectar Helpline on , they will notify our Customer Relations Team who will investigate the transaction. |
Q. | Do Nectar Points expire? |
A. | No, they are valid for as long as the Nectar programme is still running. |
